Lauren specializes in providing advice to employers surrounding leaves and reasonable accommodations for their employees. She also regularly advises employers regarding performance management, discipline, and workplace complaints including claims of discrimination and harassment.
Lauren is skilled in navigating labor relations issues in the workplace. She has advised on contract interpretation, grievances and labor negotiations. An experienced labor negotiator, Lauren has worked with public agencies both small and large from strategy, to negotiation, and through impasse.
Should you conduct an investigation? Lauren can assist in evaluating claims to assess how and when to investigate. If an external investigator is needed, Lauren has experience in conducting high-level, sensitive, and complex investigations into all types of allegations, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employee misconduct, and workplace safety.
Virtually and in person, Lauren has conducted supervisor level trainings on harassment in the workplace as well as training on how to conduct effective in house investigations.
